Description
Security Light watches one or more motion or contact sensors — and, optionally, a doorbell or a Control4 doorstation's call/motion events — and turns on a set of lights while any of them are active, restoring the lights to their prior level after an idle timeout you configure.
This is a Taft Consulting fork of Control4's own stock Security-Courtesy Light driver, built to fix a real bug in the stock driver's timer logic: with more than one trigger source configured (say, a motion sensor plus a door contact, or a motion sensor plus a doorbell), the stock driver could start counting down the auto-off timer while the original motion sensor was still actively sensing motion — turning the lights off mid-motion, sometimes leaving them stuck off until the sensor produced a fresh motion cycle. This fork checks the live state of every registered sensor before ever arming the timer, so the lights stay on for as long as anything is actually still active.
Supports dimmable and switched lights, adjustable light level and fade time, doorbell and Control4 doorstation integration, programmatic enable/disable, and manual trigger/expire/stop-timer commands and Composer actions.
